Las Galletas
The beach has areas with brown sand, mainly at both ends of the beach, and other areas with pebbles and stones, usually in the central area.
It is an easily accessible beach in Tenerife, as from the road that leads to the village of Las Galletas you can park and go down to the beach through one of the available accesses.
The beach has a special charm as it has a fishing port area, and the landscape of the beach together with the fishing boats, small boats and launches makes it unique and different from the rest of the beaches in the area.
In the pedestrian avenue near the beach there is a children’s playground, and in particular in the area of the coastal promenade you will find more restaurants and the walk is quite pleasant. In this area there is also another sandy and quiet beach with showers and a tourist information point nearby.
This beach in Tenerife has a Red Cross lifeguard point and is a supervised beach with lifeguards. However, it is always advisable to be cautious of the sea and to observe the colour of the flag that flies on the beach. Remember the meaning of the colour code of the flag:
Green flag : Suitable for bathing
Yellow flag : Caution is advised
Red flag : No swimming

“A small sandy and pebble beach at the jetty.
It is quite calm and good for children because it covers little at the beginning.
There are plenty of bars nearby to have a drink and at sunset it is very beautiful.
